Flight number assigned error - route opened

Step 1: open route with flight number 4696 => Error
Step 1: open route with flight number 4696 => Error
unexpected result: routes are opened + no higher numbered routes exist
unexpected result: routes are opened + no higher numbered routes exist
Step 2: confirming the above "open route" with flight numbers 4968 => error
Step 2: confirming the above "open route" with flight numbers 4968 => error

Result of step 2: flights are created

After confirming open route 4698, I very briefly noticed the open route confirmation screen, before displaying the open route screen with error. I did not notice this screen after 4696.

Confirmation was done with keyboard "enter", opera desktop, happened once before, when creating flight 4668/4670/4672.

Second test, different routes for same number:

- Create first route with number 015 only for Monday. All OK.
- Click "Create another route like this for the next day", number 015 is suggested as it should.
- Enter to Save the route and now I see the error as you described.

- The route is created, as the Route View window shows but it then reloads the route-copy-editor. So issue is actually that it redirects back to the editor after route is created.

- Test airline has last flight number 013.
- Copying that route, it suggests number 015, but I change it manually to 013 to create the overlap.
- I get the flight number error normally.
- I then check the Manage Routes listing page, and NO additional route with any number has been created.

Makes no difference if I submit the route editor form with mouse click to Save button, or pressing Enter.

Need more info, or step-by-step how to replicate this?

Sami & team, I can also confirm this is an issue on PC (Google) and iPad (Safari). The issue for me is setting up a daily route with same flight number as new planes arrive. First route opens fine (I.e. Monday AW001). When you hit duplicate; change the day to the new one and then change the route number (I.e. Tuesday AW001) and hit enter…you get the error message as noted in OP..however the route was created and you can hit back and simply add it onto the plane. It seems like the game engine is trying to duplicate the route when you hit enter…that is one is create in the background and then the error message returns because the route is actually created and then this would be a duplicate of Tuesday AW001. I just did daily routes for 3 new planes and this happened every time. Not the end of the world, if you know it’s an issue…but something definitely not set up or working correctly. If it’s any help, when I copied a daily route and selected 3 new days…my iPad screen was blinking like a strobe light like the game engine was overloaded.
