Just had a leasee go bankrupt and had leased planes to storage when returned. When pulling them out, I clicked do required extra maintenance button. MD-83s are just over 2 years old. Those close to but not expired C check went to C check. 2 with expired C checks went to D check…I’m assuming this C to D with 6-7 years before needed is a bug or quirk with new system as I always configure my games this way and the C check would have triggered in past for a young plane with that much time until needing a D check. Here’s one of the planes if you want to check this:

- Aircraft in long term storage.
- Aircraft of 2.5 years old, C check made exactly 2.0 years ago and D never made, thus D is valid for 5.5 yrs and C is expired.
- "Perform additional heavy (C/D) maintenance checks, even if not yet expired?" is checked.
RESULT: C check is performed. D check is NOT performed. No bug.
Test case #2:
- Aircraft in long term storage.
- Aircraft of 2.5 years old, C check made exactly 0.5 years ago and D never made, thus D is valid for 5.5 yrs and C is also valid.
- "Perform additional heavy (C/D) maintenance checks, even if not yet expired?" is checked.
RESULT: C check is performed. D check is NOT performed. No bug.
I cannot replicate this, or no bug exists. Pls report if seen again.
