I am attempting to create a route from KCLT to KSFO. The westbound leg has an effective distance (airways+wind) of 2,378nm (eastbound is 1,987nm). According to the DC-9-34 aircraft page for the plane I want to assign the route to, at that range, I can carry 54 pax and no cargo. Yet, when I try to create the route for a DC-9, I receive a red error message that states "The selected aircraft type is unable to fly this route" and I am unable to create the route at all.
